Ultra comfy flatsDec 18, 2007

The Audrey Ballet Flat is an ultra-comfy shoe from the moment you put it on. The first day I wore them for 15 hours walking thru NYC museums..no pain, no blisters, perfect shoe!

Wonderful casual shoe.Oct 16, 2008
A very light weight, classic looking flat. Great with either pants or dresses. Comfortable from my first wearing. One thing I always try to avoid flats that come too high up the foot from the toes. These shoes are only a little over 2 inches from toe end. The result is that these shoes don't look boxy or clumpy, but rather sleek and feminine. I like them so much that I just bought 1 more navy pair, 2 blacks, 1 bone and 1 tan.

Comfy!May 27, 2008

My feet are wide and I rarely find comfortable shoes that don't look like Grandma's. These flats are comfy and cute. The "red" shoes are more of an orange-red, though. As luck would have it, the exact same shade found in one of my summer dresses. I walk about 2.5 miles per day in total, and have no problems with these shoes rubbing or pinching. Great purchase for the price. So great that I've also purchased a pair in another color.

NoDec 02, 2009

After reading the positive reviews for these shoes I decided to buy them. I needed a pair of really comfortable shoes to wear at work since I am on my feet all day. I have a few complaints:
1. Online the yellow looks like a cute sunny yellow. In reality they're more mustard than sunny.
2. The slightest touch of water (e.g. the morning dew from the grass on your lawn) will leave a spot on the shoe that does not dry, fade, or disappear in any other way.
3. Runs about half a size too small. I am a size 6 1/2 in virtually every shoe I try on... except these apparently. The front is a bit too tight and the back of the shoes bite into my heels. VERY uncomfortable. I've tried breaking them in and the shoes have become uglier instead of more comfortable.
I wish I could return these for a pair of Dr. Marten's.
I would only recommend these shoes to someone I hated.

No arch support- you get what you pay forJan 24, 2011

I wear an 11W & have moderately flat feet. These shoes offer virtually no arch support & I can feel it within an hour of putting them on. At first they are comfortable, and I will say there is no toe pinching, heel cutting or any of that going on. My feet begin to feel fatigued too quickly, though, and that's just walking on carpet, not even doing any physical activity like vacuuming or something like that. Flats aren't the best for flat feet, I know, but my knees can no longer take high heels. Even low heels can throw my knees & back out of whack if they're not well-built, so I thought I'd try these as an occasional alternative, when I need dressier shoes than my normal Saucony or New Balance running shoes (which is best for daily wear in terms of keeping my feet, knees & back happy over the long haul) in the fall & winter. (SoftSpots Tela sandals are my spring/summer pick for comfortable yet inexpensive sandals that I can wear all day & night.) For women w/ normal or high arches, these might be perfectly fine.
I bought these in black & they look nice enough- a simple pair of shoes that can be dressed up or down, they look nice w/ hosiery. If one is simply looking for an inexpensive pair of flats that'll only be used occasionally & won't be used for a lot of walking or other physical activity, they're okay. If one is wearing these daily, I would question that, because these are not shoes built to really support the feet over a long-term basis. Ultimately, I have learned that I typically get what I pay for, and I will try on a more expensive, but better-built, fal/winter dress shoe next time.
